3″Purple Foamed Wool Heavy Cut Buffing Pad (58-323-1-LC)

Achieve aggressive paint correction with the Lake Country 3″ Purple Foamed Wool Cutting Pad, designed for use with dual-action (DA) and rotary polishers. Lake Country’s patented nanofoam technology combines lambswool fibers with microscopic polyfoam particles to deliver powerful cutting performance while producing a smoother finish than traditional wool pads.

Key Features & Benefits

• Aggressive Cutting Performance: Removes P1500-grit sanding scratches, oxidation, and stubborn paint defects.
• Improved Finishing: Cuts like natural sheepskin while finishing more like a foam pad, helping reduce compounding swirls and hazing.
• Patented Nanofoam Technology: Microscopic polyfoam particles encapsulate the base of the lambswool fibers for enhanced performance.
• Resists Matting and Caking: Dense foamed fibers help maintain consistent cutting action during polishing.
• Enhanced Cushioning: Minute air pockets help cushion the pad and retain compounds and polishes.
• Consistent Performance: Uniform manufacturing helps deliver more predictable results than natural sheepskin pads.
• DA and Rotary Compatible: Designed for use with compatible dual-action and rotary polishing machines.
• Compact 3″ Size: Provides control for smaller surfaces and detailed paint correction.

What is Foamed Wool?

Patented nanofoam process encapsulates the base of the lambswool fibers with microscopic polyfoam particles.

Benefits:

• Performance – Cuts like natural sheepskin but finishes like a foam pad. Aggressively removes P1500 grit scratches, leaving a lustrous finish with minimal hazing or compounding swirls, increasing workflow efficiency.
• Dense Body – Foamed fibers resist caking and matting. Foaming process also creates minute air pockets at the base fibers, which improves cushioning and retention of compounds and polishes.
• Consistent Quality – Manufacturing process produces a uniform material, resulting in consistent pad performance. Unlike performance reducing variances that can occur with natural sheepskin pads.
