Shipping and Handling Policy

As boaters ourselves we realize that when you need a part, you need it NOW. With that in mind we will make every effort to ship all orders received within 2 business days from receipt, contingent on our having it in stock.
However, we are not able to control the time in transit, so if your order is urgent, please consider expedited shipping (i.e. Next Day or Second Day Air) for an additional fee. For all orders not shipped, lost or damaged our liability is limited to replacing the order within a reasonable time.

Standard Delivery:

Any order that exceeds $99.00 worth of standard sized, non-hazardous, in-stock items will not be charged freight. Free freight orders will be shipped at BOW’s discretion using any carrier that BOW chooses, this could include FedEx, UPS, USPS, common carrier or our own vehicle.

For orders less than $99.99 (excluding sales tax, freight & handling) the following fees will apply:

  • Orders of $.01 – $49.99 will incur a fee of $9.95
  • Orders of $50.00 – $99.98 will incur a fee of $14.95
  • All orders are considered to be shipped FOB origin, meaning that once an item is picked up by the carrier from our facility, ownership of the item transfers to you, the customer.

Non- Standard Delivery:

Oversized, overweight and hazardous items do not qualify for free freight. All freight orders will be quoted and upon customer approval, shipping charges will be added to order. The customer will be responsible for all inbound / outbound freight and minimum order charges for any special ordered / non-stocking item that is drop shipped from the manufacturer.

Freight orders will also require a signature upon delivery. This will require further communication between the shipper and you (the buyer). The freight company will reach out to confirm delivery dates or any other necessary information.

**All appliances are shipped via motor freight and will incur additional freight charges.

Changes to this policy:

BOW reserves the right to alter, amend or withdraw this offer at any time. Existing orders will be notified prior to shipment if BOW exercises this right.

Exceptions  Alaska / Hawaii / US Territories / Outside the US:

The freight policy above only applies to shipments within the 48 states that make up the continental US. Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories and all International destinations will be quoted at the time of order.

For your convenience Boat Owners Warehouse offers the option to order online and pick up at the store of your choice.

Although it could be sooner, please allow up to 1 business day for your order to be processed. Boat Owners Warehouse will notify you once your order is ready. Boat Owners Warehouse will hold your order for 2 business days after you have been notified that your order is ready, at which time it will be returned to the shelf if not picked up. Please consult our list of locations to determine your local store hours.
